River City Renegade, known in Japan as The Original Hot Blooded Tough Guy Kunio-kun (初代熱血硬派くにおくん, Shodai Nekketsu Kōha Kunio-kun), was originally released for the Super Famicom, only in Japan in 1992.
It is the twelfth game in the Kunio-kun series.
Versions
Decades after its Super Famicom debut in 1992, it was ported to the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Windows worldwide on April 23, 2025 in a compilation titled Super Technos World: River City & Technos Arcade Classics. This was the first time the game was released in English.
