GiGO is a chain of arcades in Japan.

They are managed by Genda GiGO Entertainment, a subsidiary of Genda.

GiGO stands for "Get into the Gaming Oasis".

The chain was founded by Sega in July 1993.

Acquisition by Genda

On November 4, 2020, Genda acquired 85.1% of Sega's share of the stock in Sega Entertainment. The company was renamed Genda Sega Entertainment.

On January 28, 2022, due to losses sustained during the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, Genda purchased the remaining shares and renamed the company Genda GiGO Entertainment.

Beginning on March 9, 2022, and continuing in the following months, all of the Sega-branded arcades in Japan were rebranded as GiGO arcades.

Appearance in video games

GiGO appears as a location in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
