Formation

Cloanto IT srl was founded in 1987.

Amiga Forever

In 1997, Amiga, Inc. was granted the right to use the Amiga name, logo, ROM files, and software in an emulation compilation for Windows titled Amiga Forever.

Sale of Amiga rights to Cloanto and formation of Amiga Corporation

In 2012, the Amiga intellectual property rights, up to 1993, were transferred to Cloanto.

On February 1, 2019, Amiga Inc. transferred its including Amiga trademarks and copyrights to C-A Acquisition. The latter was acquisition corporation owned by the director of Cloanto, Mike Battilana.

C-A Acquisition was renamed Amiga Corporation around 2020.
