Rick and Morty are characters that are part of a multimedia series consisting of a television show, short films, video games, comics, and music.
Character biographies
Rick Sanchez is a genius scientist who invented portal technology that allows him to travel across dimensions.
He left his daughter, Beth, before his grandchildren were born. After his grandchildren, Morty and Summer Smith become teenagers, he re-enters his family's life.
As a result, Rick often takes Morty on dangerous adventures to other dimensions, often to the annoyance of his son-in-law, Jerry.
