Early arcade games
Sun Corporation began creating arcade games in 1978.
Sunsoft brand name
In 1985, when the Sun Electronics Corporation began creating games for the Family Computer, it began using the Sunsoft brand name. The first game to use the Sunsoft brand name was the Famicom version of Ikki.
Sun Corporation of America
Sun Corporation of America was founded in July 1986 when Sun Corporation purchased Kitkorp.
