TurboGrafx-16 Mini, known as the PC Engine Core Grafx Mini in Europe and as the PC Engine Mini in Japan, was a miniature video game system by Konami.
It was released in Japan on March 19, 2020, in North America on May 22, 2020, and in Europe on June 5, 2020.
It contained forty-seven built-in games, except in Japan where it contained forty-eight, running on an emulator designed by M2. The worldwide versions included untranslated Japanese games.
It was designed to resemble the TurboGrafx-16, and included emulated TurboGrafx-16, TurboGrafx-CD, Super CD-ROM², Arcade CD-ROM², and SuperGrafx games. It contained contain a controller that connected to the console using a USB connection. The video was output through HDMI.
Release
It was originally scheduled to be released worldwide on March 19, 2020. It was released in Japan on that date. However, the North American release was delayed to May 22, 2020, and the European release was delayed to June 5, 2020, because of the closures of the manufacturing and shipping facilities in China due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
