Musashi Miyamoto (宮本 武蔵, Miyamoto Musashi, 1584 - June 13, 1645) was a Japanese rōnin.
He was influential during the time period when the Tokugawa shogunate ruled Japan.

Because of his influence on modern Japan, he has been included in many forms of media. He was portrayed using the likeness of the protagonist of the Like a Dragon series, Kazuma Kiryu, in the March 2008 issue of Kamutai Magazine. He was then portrayed using the likeness and voice actor of Kiryu, Takaya Kuroda in Like a Dragon: Kenzan!
