The Macintosh II was the sixth line of computers released by Apple Computer. It was preceded by the Macintosh line.

The Macintosh II was released in 1987. The Macintosh IIx was released in 1988. The Macintosh IIcx and Macintosh IIcl were released in 1989. The Macintosh IIfx and Macintosh IIsi were released in 1990. The Macintosh IIvi and Macintosh IIvx were released in 1992.

Legacy

The Macintosh II line was followed by the Macintosh Quadra, Macintosh Centris, Macintosh LC, and Power Macintosh lines.
