Atlantis II is an Atari 2600 video game by Imagic. It is a contest version of Atlantis.

The box and cartridge are identical to that of Atlantis. The only way to differentiate the two games by sight is the printed Atlantis II sticker placed on the packaging.

Story

The city of Atlantis must be protected from the spaceships piloted by the evil Gorgons.

Differences

Compared to Atlantis, the gameplay in Atlantis II is much faster, the scoring system is slightly different, and enemy ships give a lower score count.

Contest

The contest was held by Imagic for the first people who could max out the score in Atlantis. Cartridges were sent out to the people who submitted proof of their accomplishment.

Out of those who received a cartridge, four were chosen to be sent to Bermuda for the final round of the competition. The winner of the final competition won $10,000 USD.
