It was originally developed by Heavy Iron Studios and was published by Bandai Namco Entertainment as an exclusive for the Google Stadia on November 17, 2020. It shut down with the closure of Stadia on January 17, 2023.
Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle: Chomp Champs, an enhanced port for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S developed by Amber Studio, was published by Bandai Namco Entertainment on May 8, 2024.
