Host Master and the Conquest of Humor is an adventure game by Klint Honeychurch of Double Fine Productions with music by Bert Chang.
Plot
Double Fine founder Tim Schafer searches around backstage at the 2009 Game Developers Choice Awards for jokes to use for his hosting duties that night.
Gameplay
The game is a low-resolution third-person point-and-click adventure game. There are three different endings to the game, based on how many jokes are collected. There are 22 jokes in total.
Development
Double Fine's then-webmaster Klint Honeychurch created the game in homage to the Monkey Island games Tim Schafer created while employed at LucasArts, with an interface and art style similar to those games.
