The Blackwell Legacy was the first game in the Blackwell series.
Plot
Rosa Blackwell inherits her aunt's spirit guide, Joey Mallone, after her aunt passes away. Now she has to work with Joey to send ghosts to the afterlife and discover who has been causing their deaths.
Versions
The game is an expansion and remake of Dave Gilbert's 2003 freeware release, Bestowers of Eternity: Part One.
The Blackwell Legacy was originally released for Windows on December 23, 2006.
An updated version was released in a limited fashion on October 21, 2011, and later in a wide release on January 13, 2012, coinciding with the game's release on Steam. This changed Rosa's actor to the one in later games, had improved fonts, and a new commentary track.
The updated version was later released for iOS on July 10, 2014 and for Macintosh, Linux, and Android on September 23, 2014.
