Poker Night at the Inventory was a crossover poker game developed and published by Telltale Games for macOS and Windows on May 18, 2010. It is the spiritual sequel to their first game, Telltale Texas Hold'em.

It was the second game in Telltale's Pilot Program, a program where quirky concepts are given one episode, and if media and fan response is high, more episodes were produced. The game was well-received and Poker Night 2 was released in 2013.

Characters

As in Telltale Texas Hold'em, the player is referred to by the other characters as "The Player". The manager of and dealer at The Inventory, a hidden speakeasy where video game characters spend their free time, is Reginald Van Winslow from the Monkey Island series. The other poker players are Max from the Sam & Max series, Strong Bad from the Homestar Runner series, Tycho from the Penny Arcade series, and The Heavy from the Team Fortress series.

Team Fortress 2 unlockables

Team Fortress 2 unlockables were included in the game. This included Sam's badge and Max's luger, Homestar Runner's "Dangeresque, Too?" glasses, The Heavy's gun, and Tycho's Pac-Man watch. People who pre-ordered the game also received a poker dealer's visor for The Heavy to wear in Team Fortress 2.
