Jashin-chan (邪神ちゃん) is a character that is part of a multimedia series consisting of comics, a television series, a film, music, and video games.

She is the title character of the Jashin-chan Dropkick manga, anime, and various other associated media.

Fictional character biography

Jashin-chan is a self-healing lamia who resides in Hell. Jashin is Japanese for "evil god".

As a lamia, she is half serpent and half woman. As a devil, she is self-serving and lacks modesty.

She is summoned out of Hell by a human witch named Yurine Hanazono.

She can return to Hell only if the human performs another spell or if the human dies.

Due to the latter, Jashin-chan constantly tries to kill Yurine. However, Yurine is fast and strong for a human, and Jashin-chan is not smart. So, Jashin-chan never succeeds, and she never learns.
