Up Software is a Chinese video game development division of Soft Starlight.

Softstar Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (软星科技(上海)有限公司, Ruǎn Xīng Kē Jì (Shànghǎi) Yǒu Xiàn Gōng Sī) was founded in 2001 as a subsidiary of the Beijing subsidiary of the Taiwanese company Softstar Entertainment.
Closure and reorganization
Softstar Technology (Shanghai) was closed in 2007, then was reorganized under the same name as a video game developer for mobile phones under Softstar Technology (Beijing) in 2015.
Acquisition by the China Mobile Games Entertainment Group
The China Mobile Games Entertainment Group acquired a 51% stake in Softstar Technology (Beijing) for 213 million CNY on May 1, 2018.
It acquired the remaining 49% stake of the company on August 5, 2021.
Up Software
The name of the company was renamed to Up Software in August 2023.
