Shortly afterward, Daigo disappeared. Masato Aizawa and Yu Morinaga, Daigo's bodyguards, found it suspicious that Daigo chose to get in a taxi in the middle of the queue. They asked Kiryu to tell them where Daigo was headed. Not believing that he didn't know, they tried to beat the information out of him. Kiryu won the fight, let them know that he wanted to be just a taxi driver named Taichi Suzuki, and told them that he honestly didn't know where Daigo was headed.
Because the seventh chairman of the Omi Alliance was terminally ill and the sixth chairman of the Tojo Clan was missing, tensions were raised between the two yakuza organizations, threatening to turn into a full-blown war.
