Street Fighter is a Japanese multimedia series consisting of video games, television series, comics, films, and music.
It premiered in 1987 with Capcom's Street Fighter arcade game.
It became a worldwide hit with the release of the Street Fighter II arcade game in 1991.
It was spun off into the Marvel vs. Capcom series.
Fictional storyline
Fighters from around Earth fight each other.
The last fighter standing is considered the best fighter in the world.
