Sorcery Saga I (魔導物語I, Madō Monogatari I) is a variation on the first part of the Sorcery Saga series.
It is a remake of Sorcery Saga 1 (魔導物語1, Madō Monogatari 1), the first part of Sorcery Saga 1-2-3 (魔導物語1-2-3, Madō Monogatari 1-2-3).
Releases
Sorcery Saga I was developed by Compile and published by Sega for Mega Drive in Japan on March 22, 1996. Sega published it as part of Mega Drive Mini in Japan on September 19, 2019.
It was later published on Project EGG for Windows in Japan by D4 Enterprise on January 30, 2024.
Fan translations
On May 14, 2020, a fan group titled LIPEMCO! Translations translated Sorcery Saga I for Mega Drive from its original Japanese and released an unofficial English translation patch.
