Sega World is an arcade in Taiwan.

It was formerly a chain of arcades in Japan and Taiwan, alongside Club Sega, Hi-Tech Land Sega, Hi-Tech Sega, Joypolis, Sega Arena, and Sega branded arcade locations.

The first Sega World location opened in 1993.

Former locations included Australia, China, South Korea, and the United Kingdom.

The remaining Sega World location in Taiwan is known as Sega World Oe.

Renaming of the Japanese Sega World locations

In December 2020, Genda purchased the majority of Sega's share of the stock in Genda Sega Entertainment.

On January 28, 2022, Genda purchased the remaining shares and renamed the company Genda GiGO Entertainment.

Beginning on March 9, 2022, and continuing in the following months, all of the Sega-branded arcades in Japan were rebranded as GiGO arcades.

Sega World Da Jiang in Taoyuan, Taiwan remained open.
