Stan Lee (born Stanley Martin Leiber on December 28, 1922, died on November 12, 2018) was the editor-in-chief at Marvel Comics from 1941-1972, and was in various management positions at the company until the 1990s.

While at Marvel, Stan Lee co-created many characters and superhero teams, including Ant-Man, the The Avengers, Black Panther, Black Widow, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, the Fantastic Four, Guardians of the Galaxy, Hawkeye, Hulk, the Inhumans, Iron Man, Life Model Decoys, Loki, Man-Thing, Captain Marvel, Peggy Carter, She-Hulk, S.H.I.E.L.D., Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch, Thor, Vision, The Wasp, and the X-Men.
