In 1980, Marvel Productions was formed to produce animated projects. Marvel Productions was renamed New World Animation in 1993.

Saban Productions was formed in 1980, and was renamed Saban Entertainment in 1988. They developed several animated television series based on Marvel characters.

Fox Kids Worldwide

New World Animation and Saban Entertainment merged with Fox's children's entertainment division in 1996 to form Fox Kids Worldwide.
