Mario Bros. is a series of platforming video games by Nintendo.

It is a spin-off of the Donkey Kong series. It was further spun off into the Super Mario series, the Luigi series, the Luigi's Mansion series, the Mario RPG series, the Mario Kart series, the Mario Party series, the Mario sports series, and the Super Smash Bros. series.

Fictional character biographies

Luigi joins his twin brother Mario in most games in this series. In the Mario Bros. Game & Watch, the brothers are factory workers, preparing packages of bottles to load on a delivery truck. In the other games in the series, they are plumbers in New York City. They venture into the sewers beneath the city to defeat all of the creatures that come out of the sewer pipes.
