LMDs are characters that are part of an American multimedia series consisting of comics, television shows, films, music, and video games.

LMDs were created in August 1965 by the Marvel Comics writers Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

Fictional character biographies

LMDs, short for life model decoy, are androids created by S.H.I.E.L.D. that completely mimic human appearance and behavior. As the name suggests, they are commonly used as decoys to replace S.H.I.E.L.D. agents or superheroes.
