Greg Universe is a character that is part of an American multimedia series consisting of television shows, video games, a film, music, and comic books.
Fictional character biography
Greg Universe was a musician with the stage name of Mr. Universe. He fell in love with Rose Quartz, a member of an alien race called gems which are made up of light.
When Greg and Rose decided to have a baby, Rose gave up her life to give birth to her son, Steven Universe, as two beings can not exist with the same gemstone.
When his son was 13, as Steven was part gem, he let Steven become part of their group, the Crystal Gems, the members of which were gems named Garnet, Pearl, and Amythyst, and later Bismuth, Lapis, Peridot, and Steven's human love interest Connie Maheswaran.
