Additionally, it included different music tracks and new items.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Final Mix
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Final Mix is a previously Japan-exclusive updated edition of the original Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep that includes the original story of Terra, and Ventus, and Aqua's efforts to find the missing Master Xehanort ten years before the events of the original Kingdom Hearts.
In addition, it included events and tweaks not found in the original game. It included new scenes, including a new secret mission featuring Aqua.
Additionally, as with the other Final Mix updates, it included new items.
Kingdom Hearts Re:coded
Kingdom Hearts Re:coded is included as a cinematic, non-playable retelling of the events of the game. It includes 3 hours worth of high definition versions of cutscenes from the game, which was originally released on the Nintendo DS, approximately 2 hours of which are new scenes.
The story takes place after the events of Kingdom Hearts II, and follows the discovery of Jiminy Cricket's journal, which has two entries written by unknown people.
The backgrounds and textures of Kingdom Hearts II had to be adjusted to account for the change of ratio from a standard 4:3 ratio to a widescreen 16:9 ratio. Additional imagery was also added to the menu screens and the Gummi Ship area due to the shift in aspect ratios.
