| ==Fictional character biography==
| |
| [[File:Goro Majima.png|100px|left]]
| |
| Goro Majima joined the yakuza and became sworn brothers with [[Taiga Saejima]].
| |
| | |
| He was supposed to be part of a hit in 1985 on a rival gang with Saejima.
| |
| | |
| Instead, Saejima conducted the hit himself while Majima was captured, lost his eye, and was chained up.
| |
| | |
| After a year of torture, he was released to civilian life in Sotenbori, however, he was constantly watched by the yakuza.
| |
| | |
| In Sotenbori, he ran a successful cabaret with the promise that he would be able to return to Shimano's family if he raised 100 million yen.
| |
| | |
| He raised the money, but Shimano raised the debt to 500 million unless he killed a woman named Makoto Makimura.
| |
| | |
| Instead, Majima discovered a conspiracy surrounding Makimura. He protected her, uncovered the conspiracy, and returned to the yakuza.
| |
| | |
| When he returned to the yakuza, he adopted a manic personality and became known as the Mad Dog of Shimano.
