Masayoshi Tanimura is a member of the Kamurocho police department.
Preorders of the game receive exclusive access to the Legendary Fighter Pack when the game releases on November 9, 2023.  


He is known for taking bribes, but he gives them to poor Asian immigrants.  
This allows three recurring characters in the Like a Dragon series to be playable in the arena.  


He finds himself in the middle of a conspiracy involving the high-ranking members of the Kamurocho police department.
[[Daigo Dojima]], the Sixth Chairman of the Tojo Clan, appeared as a non-playable character in every mainline game in the series with the exception of the original ''[[Yakuza]]'' and its [[Yakuza|''Kiwami'' remake]], as well as the spin-off ''[[Yakuza: Dead Souls]]''. He was previously a playable character in the Japanese-exclusive spin-off game ''[[Like a Dragon Online]]''.


He joined [[Kazuma Kiryu]] and his crew to expose and stop the people involved.
