InterAct Accessories Inc. was an American video game peripheral manufacturer.

Record Town

Record Town was founded in 1936.

Recoton

Record Town was shortened to Recoton in 1952.

Interact

Founded in 1991 by Todd Hays, Interact was acquired by Recoton in 1995.

They manufactured and published GameShark video game cheat devices. They were licensed versions of Datel's Action Replay devices that were published in North America under the GameShark brand name.

Closure

Recoton went bankrupt in 2001, and its subsidiaries, including InterAct, were closed. After the closure of Interact, Mad Catz acquired the rights to the GameShark brand name.
