Imagic was founded in 1981 by former Atari employees Bill Grubb, Bob Smith, Mark Bradley, Rob Fulop, and Denis Koble, former Mattel employees Jim Goldberger, Dave Durran, and Brian Dougherty, former Intel employee Pat Ransil, and former Versatec employee Gary Kato.
Closure
It ceased operations in 1986.
Acquisition by Imagic
The rights to most of Imagic's games were acquired by Activision following Imagic's demise.
