Grandstand is a brand owned by Hasbro.

History

Adam Imports was founded in 1974 by Les Kenyon and Chris Rycroft. They imported audio equipment as well as video games and video game consoles and sold them in the United Kingdom, parts of Europe, and New Zealand under the Grandstand brand.

Adam Imports was partly owned by George Bassett, the confectionary firm, but Chris Rycroft purchased their shares in the company in 1980. It was renamed Adam Leisure Group PLC in 1983.

The Grandstand brand name was purchased by Tiger Electronics in 1988. Tiger Electronics was then acquired by Hasbro in 1998.

Products

Grandstand branded products included audio equipment as well as video games and video game consoles.
