George Herbert Walker Bush (June 12, 1924 - November 30, 2018) was a politician who was the forty-first president of the United States from 1989 to 1993. He was previously the forty-third vice president of the United States from 1981 to 1989, under President Ronald Reagan. He was succeeded as President by Bill Clinton.

He is the father of the forty-third president of the United States, George W. Bush.
