Dave Gilbert (born March 31, 1976) is a video game developer founded Wadjet Eye Games.

Wadjet Eye Games was founded in 2006 to expand his freeware Adventure Game Studio adventure game, The Shivah, into a voiced commercial edition. This was further remade into The Shivah: Kosher Edition in 2013.

His next project was to remake and expand his 2003 AGS adventure game, Bestowers of Eternity: Part One. The result, The Blackwell Legacy, began the Blackwell series when it launched in 2006. This was followed by four sequels including Blackwell Unbound in 2007, The Blackwell Convergence in 2009, The Blackwell Deception in 2011, and The Blackwell Epiphany in 2014.

Other adventure games he created through Wadjet Eye games included Emerald City Confidential in 2009 and Unavowed in 2018.
