Black Belt, known in Japan as Fist of the Big Dipper or Fist of the North Star (北斗の拳, "Hokuto no Ken"), is a brawler developed and published by Sega.

Versions

In Japan, it was based on the Fist of the North Star series. Outside of Japan, the characters and references to Fist of the North Star were changed as Sega didn't utilize the license outside of Japan.

An enhanced remake was released on PlayStation 2 as Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 11: Hokuto no Ken (Sega Ages 2500シリーズ Vol.11 北斗の拳) in 2004 in Japan. The Japanese Sega Master System version was released on Virtual Console for Wii in 2008 in Japan.

The Japanese Sega Master System version was included in both the Japanese and worldwide releases of Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise, which was released in 2018 for PlayStation 4.
