A poor boy named Aladdin is tricked by an evil sorcerer into retrieving an old oil lamp from a booby-trapped magic cave.

Aladdin rubs the lamp and discovers there is a magic genie inside. With the help of the genie, he becomes rich and powerful, and marries the princess, the daughter of the sultan.

The sorcerer steals the lamp and takes over the palace.

However, with the help of the princess, who distracts the sorcerer, Aladdin is able to take back the lamp and defeat the sorcerer.
