Ace Attorney, known in Japan as Turnabout Trial, is a Japanese multimedia series consisting of video games, a television show, a film, music, and comic books.
Characters from the series were also included in some games in the Capcom vs. series, in some games in the Taiko no Tatsujin series, in some games in the Project X Zone series, and in some games in the Puzzle Fighter series.
Fictional character biographies
Phoenix Wright is a rookie defense attorney who gains experience as the series goes on.
Other protagonists include Phoenix Wright's understudies Apollo Justice and Athena Cykes.
Protagonists in the spin-offs include a prosecuting attorney named Miles Edgeworth and Phoenix Wright's ancestor Ryūnosuke Naruhodō.
