Yakuza 5, known in Japan as Ryū ga Gotoku 5: Yume, Kanaeshi Mono (龍が如く5 夢、叶えし者, "Like a Dragon 5: Fulfiller of Dreams"), is the fifth mainline game, and the tenth game overall, in the Like a Dragon series. It was released on PlayStation 3 in Japan on December 5, 2012, and in North America, Europe, and Australia on December 8, 2015. It received a high-definition port in Japan for PlayStation 4 on June 20, 2019, and worldwide on February 11, 2020. The high-definition port was released worldwide for Windows and Xbox One on January 28, 2021.
Outside of Asia, the PlayStation 3 release was only released digitally. The high-definition versions, however, were released worldwide on physical media as well as digitally.
Plot
Kazuma Kiryu, Haruka Sawamura, Shun Akiyama, Tatsuo Shinada, and Taiga Saejima find themselves in a conspiracy involving the Tojo Clan and the Omi Alliance.
