Street Fighter II: The World Warrior was the second Street Fighter game and the first in a series of Street Fighter II fighting video games by Capcom.

History

The original arcade version of Street Fighter II: The World Warrior was released in 1991.

The game was a success, leading Capcom to release many ports and updated versions.

The first update was Street Fighter II: Champion Edition, which was first released to arcades in 1992.
