Sega Genesis Classics, known as Sega Mega Drive Classics in Europe and Oceania, and Sega Mega Drive and Genesis Classics on Linux, macOS, and Windows, is a video game compilation.

It was developed by d3t and published by Sega.

Release

Sega Mega Drive and Genesis Classics was released on June 1, 2010 for Windows and on May 29, 2018 for Linux and macOS.

It contains emulated Sega Mega Drive and Sega Genesis video games.

The computer versions also include a port of the Sega CD video game, Sonic CD.

The console versions, titled Sega Genesis Classics in North America and as Sega Mega Drive Classics elsewhere were ported to consoles in 2018, starting with the worldwide release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 29, 2018.

A Nintendo Switch port followed with a release in Europe and Oceania on December 6, 2018 and North America on December 7, 2018.
