Blackwell Unbound was the second game in the Blackwell series, and was a prequel to the first game.

Plot

It follows Rosa's aunt Lauren Blackwell on a case in 1973 as she works with her spirit guide Joey Mallone to send ghosts to the afterlife and discover who had caused their untimely demise.

Development

It was originally meant to be a flashback scene in The Blackwell Convergence, but it was cut from that game and released as a full-fledged game of its own.

It was released for Windows on September 4, 2007 and for iOS on July 10, 2014. It was later released for Macintosh, Linux, and Android on September 23, 2014.
